Hardin’s Creek Kentucky Series of Three 17yr Bourbons

Starting bid: $220.00

“each expression within The Kentucky Series is a 17-year-old Bourbon, aged at one of three James B. Beam Distilling Company [Kentucky] campuses: Clermont, Frankfort, and Boston. All three liquids were laid down with the same mash bill at the same time seventeen years ago but aged at different campus locations.”

RELEASE NO.1

Clermont

COLOR

Rich amber with darker tones

PALATE

Forward caramelized oak, followed by brown spices and hints of seasoned leather

NOSE

Burnt sugar tripled with matured toasted oak and sweet vanilla

FINISH

Smooth and sweet with lingering warmth
The Story of  Clermont
A liquid and a legacy, that could only come from one place.

CLIMATE

The microclimates shaped by the rigid and rolling hills define the area around Clermont – and the liquid that was aged here.

PLACE

In a rack house swathed by thick woodland, Clermont took on a warmth that may as well have come from the strong Kentucky sun itself.
DISCOVER
Taste it and discover the warm spice, leather, and the contours that shaped over 227 years of Beam distilling.

RELEASE NO.2

Frankfort

COLOR

Deep burnished amber

PALATE

Concentrated sweet caramel and raisin with gentle floral tobacco

NOSE

Delicate oak wood with hints of campfire and cigar box

FINISH

Sweet oak and aged wood tones
The Story of  Frankfort
In Frankfort, and in whiskey, slower is better.
CLIMATE
Humidity hangs heavy at our campus in Frankfort, seeming to slow the passage of time itself. It only makes the whiskey better.
PLACE
There’s less ventilation in the rackhouses in Frankfort, which allows the liquid to age at its own pace and take on a subtle campfire and cigar box nose.
DISCOVER
Taste the rich yet floral tobacco notes that humidity and time imbue. It may be aged for 17 years, but its soul is even older.

RELEASE NO.3

Boston

COLOR

Rich amber with darker tones

PALATE

Soft caramel and vanilla with oak tones, faded hazelnut

NOSE

Toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, and slight coconut

FINISH

Sweet baking spices
The Story of  Boston
Ideal conditions. Ideal ingredients. Ideal bourbon.
CLIMATE
Golden sunshine and clear air define the climate of the Booker Noe campus in Boston, KY. These unique conditions make for faster, richer aging. A distiller couldn’t ask for a better climate for maturation.
PLACE
In Boston, the rackhouses are widely spaced, giving the bourbon even room to mature. The distance meets the clear conditions to create a bold and characterful whiskey, much like Booker Noe himself.

DISCOVER

This terroir lends the liquid a sweetness not found in the other Kentucky Series releases: hazelnut, coconut, marshmallow, and baking spices. Ideal conditions truly make an ideal bourbon.

Hardin’s Creek Kentucky Series of 17yr Bourbons

THE BEAM LEGACY

To Create the Future we Went Back to our Roots
In 1795, Jacob Beam started a legacy measured in centuries. Eight generations later, Fred and Freddie Noe are looking for inspiration in the family legacy that made whiskey as we know it today. With each release of Hardin’s Creek, Fred and Freddie draw on their generations of knowledge to create whiskey’s future.
